All committees will be overseen by the board. No one will be set up to fail! If all committees are successful, we will continue to be a successful club. If no committee has a chairperson that feels confident, a board member will assume the position of chair.
Land Committee:
This group will meet to:
Gather information from members about what best fits the club goals and requirements.
Discuss pros/cons of owning land vs. obtaining event specific land leases. This includes club fun days and random weekends of riding.
Discuss location that is most desirable.
As things progress, loop the board in to ensure that budgets are set and attainable.
Enduro Committee:
This group will meet to:
Discuss goals for the upcoming enduro events. As of 2025 this means Foggy Mountain Enduro.
Ensure that all work needed is coordinated with enough volunteers (work weekends, event weekend, remediation, etc.). If more volunteers are needed, reach out to board.
Ensure that all trails encompassed in the state forest are being maintained to the standard of DCNR.
Ensure that all trails on private landowners property are being maintained to an acceptable standard.
Work with landowners to obtain access when needed.
Work with Blain Fire Co. to obtain access to the Blain Picnic Grounds when needed.
Work with vendors and sponsors leading up to the event. (Food, porta potties, dumpster, etc.).
Work with DCNR to get approval of the race course for the upcoming year's event.
All sanctioning, insurance, and event activity agreements will be provided.
Dual Sport Committee:
This group will meet to:
Discuss goals for the upcoming dual sport events. As of 2025 this means Michaux Dual Sport.
Ensure that all work needed is coordinated with enough volunteers (work weekends, event weekend, remediation, etc.). If more volunteers are needed, reach out to board.
Ensure that all trails encompassed in the state forest are being maintained to the standard of DCNR.
Work with Shippensburg Fairgrounds to obtain access when needed.
Work with vendors and sponsors leading up to the event. (Food, porta potties, dumpster, etc.).
Work with DCNR to get approval of the course for the upcoming year's event.

Hare Scramble Committee:
This group will meet to:
Discuss goals for the upcoming hare scramble events. As of 2025 this means High Steaks.
Ensure that all work needed is coordinated with enough volunteers (work weekends, event weekend, etc.). If more volunteers are needed, reach out to board.
Work with the landowner to obtain access when needed.
Work with vendors and sponsors leading up to the event. (Food, porta potties, dumpster, etc.).
All sanctioning, insurance, and event activity agreements will be provided.
Member Benefit Committee:
This group will meet to:
Discuss goals for our member benefits. This includes the Bug Out.
Discuss ways to give back to the members.
Refine the different tiers of membership and what each tier gets.

Community Outreach Committee:
This group will meet to:
Discuss goals for our club community outreach. This includes Dirty Santa.
Discuss what other community outreach activities the club might want to do in a given year. (Examples include when we ran Ride Out The Darkness, Rocks Beats Cancer,Grace and Grit Enduro Fund, etc.)
Run the club social media pages to have good public outreach.
